TONY SILVER BIO/CREDITS

 

Tony was born and raised in Manchester, England & moved to the States when he was 18 years old. As a kid he played the drums, piano and guitar & soon began creating demos of his own songs. After moving to the States he spent a few years playing in bands up and down the legendary Jersey shore & then moved to Philadelphia where he was one of the founding members and resident Bassist for ‘The Last Minute Jam Band’, playing every week at the legendary J.C. Dobbs on South Street for many years.

 

Tony is lead singer & bassist for “The W.A.S” & has played bass for many different artists including Roger Daltrey, G Tom Mac, Diesel (Australia) & Phoebe Snow.

 

After Philadelphia, Tony moved to New York & was signed as a writer to Warner Chappel Music & then signed a recording contract with Mercury Records.

Tony then moved to Los Angeles & began composing for film & television.

Last year Tony moved to Palm Beach FL where he continues composing & playing live shows as a solo artist & singing & playing bass for local FL band Westminster Trio.

 

Film

Tony’s song “After The Years” was used in the feature film “Begin Again” (2014) starring Keira Knightley & Adam Levine.

His song “Sugar Killer” co-written with G Tom Mac was used in the feature film “Tekken”  & the short film “The Divorce” (2015).

“Time Bomb” & “Every Lover”, also cowritten with G Tom Mac are featured in the film “No Way Home” starring Tim Roth.

 

Television

Tony’s music has been featured in many shows including TMZ, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Teen Titans, Extra, The Bachelor, Bethenny, Combat Zone & Americas Next Top Model. Tony also writes library music in many styles, pop, rock, electronica for several companies including Megatrax, BedHeads & Imaginary Friends Music.

Tony has also written & produced many jingles at legendary NYC music house JSM, where he was hired as a staff writer & created jingles for Jeep, AT&T, Titleist, Dole, Captain Morgan, Tide, MLB, J.C. Penney etc.

Tony’s track “Head Bopper” was featured in the 2016 Fabletics ad campaign.

BRANDON LEON BIO/CREDITS

Brandon Leon was involved with all the big Manchester bands of the punk era, producing &/or  engineering for among others, The Buzzcocks, Joy Division & many bands on the legendary Factory Records. He & wife Berni, managed Split Enz & were instrumental in organizing their breakthrough album 'True Colors'. They also managed seminal Manchester band The Distractions, who they signed to Island Records. Also at that time he had a major UK hit with his production "The Sparrow” by The Ramblers, shown here on Top Of The Pops - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PZFaRYmzn8

His production of “Christmas Tree” is now featured every xmas on the worlds longest running soap opera The Young & Restless.

ELLIS COHEN BIO

Ellis was also born in Manchester, England and began playing and writing songs as a journey of personal growth. Life's never ending process is painted into all of his songs with all the colors of joy and sorrow. The serendipitous event of teaming with Brandon and Tony allowed his work an expression it never have had before. "Brandon and Tony are amazingly creative and talented and have the knack for knowing when things work for us and when they don't".

The Album Love is your Country was born out of the melding of the talents of Brandon, Tony and Ellis. The love of playing, writing and producing is embedded in each song.
